Begin with Delhi before travelling through Chandigarh to Shimla, once the summer capital of British India and today known for its colonial architecture and mountain setting. Continue through the valleys of Himachal to Manali, surrounded by forests, rivers and snow-covered Himalayan peaks.
The journey concludes in Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, home to an important Tibetan community and the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Day 01 : Arrival In Delhi
Welcome to India! On arrival at Delhi International Airport, meet your Yatu Travel representative and transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure after your international journey.

Day 02 : Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin exploring Old Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid, followed by a traditional rickshaw ride through the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk.
Continue to Raj Ghat and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, before exploring New Delhi with visits to Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. Drive past India Gate and Central Delhi’s government buildings before returning to your hotel.

Day 03 : Delhi → Chandigarh
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Chandigarh, India’s celebrated planned city at the foothills of the Himalayas. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 04 : Chandigarh Sightseeing → Shimla
After breakfast, begin with the Le Corbusier Centre, which introduces Chandigarh’s extraordinary modernist planning and architectural history.
Continue to Maison Jeanneret, associated with architect Pierre Jeanneret and the development of the city.
Later, leave Chandigarh and begin the scenic drive into the Himalayan foothills towards Shimla. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.

Day 05 : Shimla Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the colonial heritage and mountain atmosphere of Shimla. Begin at The Ridge and Christ Church, one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks, before walking along the famous Mall Road.
Later, visit the historic Viceregal Lodge (Rashtrapati Niwas), once the summer residence of the British Viceroy and an important landmark in India’s colonial history. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Day 06 : Shimla → Manali
After breakfast, depart Shimla and begin the scenic journey towards Manali.
Travel through mountain valleys, forested slopes and river landscapes, with convenient refreshment and lunch stops along the way. On arrival in Manali, transfer to your hotel for check-in and enjoy the evening at leisure after the drive.

Day 07 : Rohtang Pass Excursion
After breakfast, set out for a memorable excursion towards Rohtang Pass, one of the region’s most dramatic high-altitude mountain landscapes.
Weather and road conditions permitting, enjoy panoramic views of snow-covered peaks, glaciers and the surrounding Himalayan valleys. Later, return to Manali and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Rohtang Pass is seasonal and access is subject to weather conditions, road opening, permits and local regulations. An alternative mountain excursion will be arranged when the pass is inaccessible.

Day 08 : Manali & Solang Valley
After breakfast, visit the atmospheric Hadimba Devi Temple, surrounded by tall cedar forest. Continue to Old Manali, known for its traditional houses, cafés and relaxed mountain character.
Later, drive to Solang Valley, one of the area’s most scenic valleys, surrounded by Himalayan peaks. Depending on the season, optional adventure activities may be available locally. Return to Manali after the excursion.

Day 09 : Manali → Dharamshala
After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive to Dharamshala. Travel through the valleys and mountain landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, with refreshment stops along the way. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Day 10 : McLeod Ganj Excursion
After breakfast, drive to McLeod Ganj, the centre of the Tibetan community in Dharamshala. Explore the town’s colourful streets and Tibetan atmosphere before visiting St. John in the Wilderness, a historic stone church surrounded by deodar forest. Spend some time exploring McLeod Ganj’s local markets, cafés and handicraft shops before returning to your hotel.

Day 11 : Dharamshala & Tibetan Heritage
After breakfast, visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex, one of the most important spiritual centres of the Tibetan community in India. Continue to The Tibet Museum, where exhibitions introduce visitors to Tibetan history, culture and the experiences of the Tibetan people.
Later, visit the beautiful Norbulingka Institute, established to preserve traditional Tibetan arts and crafts such as painting, woodcarving and textile work. Return to your hotel and enjoy your final evening in the Himalayas.
Overnight: Dharamshala
Day 12 : Dharamshala → Delhi (By Flight) / Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Kangra Airport for your flight to Delhi.
On arrival at Delhi Airport, connect with your onward international flight, marking the end of your Himalayan journey through Himachal Pradesh.
