Begin with Bengaluru’s historic landmarks before travelling to royal Mysuru. Continue through Shravanabelagola and the Hoysala heartland of Belur and Halebidu, where exceptionally detailed temple carvings reveal one of South India’s great architectural traditions. The Chennakeshava Temple at Belur and Hoysaleshwara Temple at Halebidu form part of UNESCO’s Sacred Ensembles of the Hoysalas.
Slow the pace amid Chikmagalur’s coffee-covered hills before continuing to UNESCO-listed Hampi, the extraordinary former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. The journey concludes among the red sandstone caves of Badami and the early Chalukyan temples of Pattadakal and Aihole, creating a fascinating journey through several centuries of South Indian history.

Day 01 : Arrival In Bengaluru
Welcome to Karnataka! On arrival at Bengaluru International Airport, meet your Yatu Travel representative and transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax after your journey.

Day 02 : Bengaluru Sightseeing → Mysuru
After breakfast, begin with a panoramic drive past the imposing Vidhana Soudha, one of Bengaluru’s most recognisable landmarks. Continue to the historic Sri Dodda Ganapathi Temple before visiting Bengaluru Fort, reflecting an earlier chapter in the city’s history.
Later, leave Bengaluru and drive towards Mysuru, Karnataka’s celebrated royal city. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 03 : Mysuru Sightseeing
After breakfast, discover the magnificent Mysore Palace, renowned for its grand interiors and Indo-Saracenic architecture. Continue to Chamundi Hills for views across Mysuru and visit the monumental Nandi statue on the hillside.
Later, visit the impressive St. Philomena’s Cathedral, one of Mysuru’s distinctive architectural landmarks. Time permitting, explore the colourful Devaraja Market, where flowers, fruits, spices and local produce offer a glimpse of everyday Mysuru. Return to your hotel.
Overnight: Mysuru
Day 04 : Mysuru → Srirangapatna → Hassan
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Hassan.
En route, visit Srirangapatna, the historic island town associated with Tipu Sultan. Explore important sites such as Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and other key landmarks depending on available time. Continue to Hassan and check in at your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Day 05 : Hassan → Belur → Halebidu → Chikmagalur
After breakfast, leave Hassan and begin exploring the remarkable Hoysala heritage of Karnataka.
Visit Belur to see the beautifully carved Chennakeshava Temple, followed by Halebidu and the magnificent Hoysaleshwara Temple, renowned for its detailed stone sculptures and intricate architecture.
Later, continue to Chikmagalur, surrounded by the green landscapes and coffee plantations of the Western Ghats. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.

Day 06 : Chikmagalur Coffee & Nature Experience
After breakfast, enjoy a slower day amid the rolling hills and plantations of Chikmagalur, one of India’s best-known coffee-growing regions. Take a guided walk through a coffee plantation, learning about coffee cultivation, local plants and the ecology of the Western Ghats.
Depending on your accommodation and interests, enjoy a gentle nature walk through the surrounding countryside, looking for colourful butterflies and birdlife while experiencing the tranquil atmosphere of Karnataka’s hill country. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Overnight: Chikmagalur
Day 07 : Chikmagalur → Hampi
After breakfast, check out and begin the longer drive across Karnataka towards Hampi. A packed lunch or convenient lunch stop can be arranged during the journey. On arrival, transfer directly to your hotel and check in. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure after the drive.

Day 08 : Hampi Sightseeing
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the extraordinary Group of Monuments at Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire and today a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Begin at the sacred Virupaksha Temple before exploring the surrounding historic landscape. Continue through the royal area to see the Queen’s Bath, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables and Zenana Enclosure. Later, visit the magnificent Vittala Temple complex, famous for its ornate pillared halls and iconic Stone Chariot, one of the most recognisable symbols of Hampi. Return to your hotel after an immersive day among Hampi’s temples, palaces and dramatic boulder-strewn landscapes.
Overnight: Hampi
Day 09 : Hampi → Badami | Badami Sightseeing
After breakfast, leave Hampi and drive towards Badami, the historic capital of the early Chalukyas. On arrival, check in at your hotel before exploring Badami’s dramatic red-sandstone landscape.
Visit the famous Badami Cave Temples, carved into the sandstone cliffs and featuring Hindu and Jain sculptures. Continue towards Agastya Lake and the Bhutanatha group of temples, beautifully positioned beneath Badami’s rugged cliffs. Return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Overnight: Badami
Day 10 : Badami → Pattadakal → Aihole → Hubballi
After breakfast, leave Badami for one of the most important archaeological days of the journey.
Begin with the UNESCO-listed Group of Monuments at Pattadakal, where temples built under the Chalukyas demonstrate a remarkable meeting of northern and southern Indian architectural traditions.
Continue to Aihole, an ancient temple town filled with early experiments in Indian temple architecture. Explore important monuments such as the Durga Temple and Lad Khan Temple before continuing towards Hubballi. On arrival in Hubballi, transfer to your hotel and relax.
Overnight: Hubballi
Day 11 : Hubballi → Bengaluru
After breakfast, transfer to Hubballi Airport for your flight to Bengaluru, subject to the operating schedule.
On arrival in Bengaluru, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure for relaxation, shopping or independent exploration.

Day 12 : Departure From Bengaluru
