Day 01 : Arrival In Ahmedabad

Welcome to Gujarat! On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport, meet your Yatu Travel representative and transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax after your journey.

Overnight: Ahmedabad

Day 02 : Ahmedabad Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin exploring Ahmedabad with a visit to Sabarmati Ashram, closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi and India’s independence movement.
Continue to Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kalupur and the beautifully carved Hutheesing Jain Temple. Subject to opening schedules and advance reservation, visit the renowned Calico Museum of Textiles, home to an exceptional collection reflecting India’s rich textile traditions.
Later, visit the remarkable Adalaj Stepwell, known for its intricate stone carvings and multi-level architecture. Depending on available time, enjoy a relaxed visit to Kankaria Lake before returning to your hotel.

Overnight: Ahmedabad

Day 03 : Ahmedabad → Modhera → Patan

After breakfast, leave Ahmedabad and drive towards Modhera. Visit the magnificent Sun Temple, an impressive example of 11th-century temple architecture, with its beautifully carved shrine, assembly hall and stepped water reservoir. Continue towards Patan and check in at your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Day 04 : Patan Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin with the spectacular Rani ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India’s finest surviving stepwells, renowned for its elaborate sculptures and remarkable architectural design.
Continue to the historic Sahastralinga Talav, once an important water-management structure associated with medieval Patan. Later, visit the Patola Heritage Museum to discover the intricate double-ikat weaving tradition for which Patan has been famous for generations. Return to your hotel after sightseeing.

Day 05 : Patan → Vadodara

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Vadodara, one of Gujarat’s important cultural and royal cities. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Depending on arrival time, you may take a relaxed evening walk or explore the city independently.

Day 06 : Vadodara → Champaner-Pavagadh → Vadodara

After breakfast, drive to the UNESCO-listed Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, an extraordinary historic landscape containing archaeological remains, mosques, temples, fortifications and structures from different periods of Gujarat’s history.
Return to Vadodara and visit the magnificent Laxmi Vilas Palace, the former residence of the Gaekwad royal family and one of the city’s most impressive architectural landmarks. Continue to the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, displaying works of art and objects associated with the royal collection. Return to your hotel.

Overnight: Vadodara

Day 07 : Vadodara → Statue of Unity → Vadodara

After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to the Statue of Unity, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and dramatically situated beside the Narmada River. Explore the monument complex and, depending on the selected ticket and available time, visit the viewing gallery and surrounding attractions. Later, return to Vadodara and relax at your hotel.

Overnight: Vadodara

Day 08 : Vadodara → Bhavnagar

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Bhavnagar. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in.
Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, allowing time to relax before the early start for Palitana the following morning.

Day 09 : Bhavnagar → Palitana → Bhavnagar

Depart early in the morning for Palitana, one of Jainism’s most important pilgrimage destinations.
At the sacred Shatrunjaya Hill, ascend towards the extraordinary collection of Jain temples that crown the summit. The temple complex contains hundreds of intricately carved shrines and offers impressive views across the surrounding landscape. After the visit, descend and return to Bhavnagar. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.
(The visit to Shatrunjaya involves a substantial climb of several thousand steps. The excursion should begin early, and travellers should be comfortable with the physical demands of the ascent.)

Day 10 : Bhavnagar → Ahmedabad / Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Ahmedabad Airport. On arrival, transfer to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your Gujarat Heritage journey.
